I've found that every fall/winter woman gravitate towards faux fur, sheepdog jackets, and some shag. This year I found myself guilty of wearing shag.
This outfit is a perfect example of how adding accessories and a good jacket can make an outfit. Without the necklace and shag this is just a plain outfit. I never really wear jeans, so when I do I try to stay away from just wearing a t-shirt.
Graphic tees are always a good idea to add some sass to a casual jean wearing day.
By adding in the statement necklace it creates a look, not just pieces of clothing.
Also... messy buns are my life.
This outfit is a great look for Tuesday happy hour with your girlfriends or weeknight date nights with your boo.
I like to keep my makeup minimal when I have a lot going on up top! I think adding a color lip to this look would take away from how chic this can be.
This shag is perfect for any clothing you have hanging in your closet. Pair it with a LBD or even some overalls.
See how the shag jacket upgrades this look from just a girl in overalls to " oh that could work." By adding accessories this look is complete with thigh high boots and a hat!!!
I believe that if you are going to wear a shag vest or jacket, make sure you accessorize approately! With just the overalls and shag I think the outfit was unfinished!
Thank you for reading all about some shag! If you love this jacket and want to own this bad boy, I found it at Target in black and this beige!
Shag me baby!
Happy Monday babes!
