New Year / New Inspiration
Happy New Years my readers and friends!!! 2015 paved the way for an exciting new journey for me. Starting 2016 off with a new state, new city, and a new apartment... Yippie!
New apartment means new stuff, right? I wanted to start off fresh and minimalistic. Moving into a studio means small and tiny. You have to work with what you have! So this post is dedicated to color. Neutral colors open up spaces and allow for change and color over the seasons. A fresh canvas is always white, then you splash a few colors here and there. My color scheme is neutral filled and a tiny hint of blush.
Grey, white, gold, and blush are perfect colors to start with, and over time I can add bolder patterns and textures if needed!
The interior of your home must feel clean and settled in order for you to feel those things!
I love the contrast of grey and blush together. It's minimalistic and allows you to add or take away from a room.
I am moving on Tuesday into my studio and can't wait to share the pictures with everyone!! Until then... Check out my inspiration via Pinterest!!
